Do I have to pay all at once? Nope, 25% deposit to hold your spot, and full payment by May 17th, 2021

 

What if I am going on vacation and cannot come get my box?  

You have the option to cancel two of the weeks in an 18 week program with at least 7 days advance notice.  You will be given a credit of the value of the week cancelled that can be spent at our farm store or at the farmers market within the same year.   Or  try to have a friend, family member, neighbor, co-worker etc pick it up for you or for themselves and donate your box to them as a treat! :)

 What happens if we did not pick up our share on our assigned pick up day or time? 

You will receive a reminder email regarding the contents of your box, and unfortunately there will be NO exceptions to the pickup time or location, this means please do not call, text, email or beg us to come at a different time or take your box with us to the market as we really don't feel like being the bad guy that has to say no:)    Instead, get in touch with a friend or family if you know you are running late and ask them for a favour.

What happens if we just forgot?

Better put it in your calendar for next time:)  It will be donated to a lucky customer at the market.

Is my deposit refundable? 

No, sorry the  deposit reserves your spot for the program and we have already planned you being part of it

Can I request substitutions for items in the Nourish Farm choice share?

No.  As a small farm, the our choice model is only sustainable when we give everyone the same share of veggies.   If that is something you may ask, maybe the "your choice" program is more your fit or  shopping at our farm store or farmers market:)

Can I switch from one box program to the other at any time during the season? 

Unfortunately we can not switch customers back and forth due to the fact that we will be planning crops according to how many people sign up into each program. 

Can I pay by cheque or cash?

Yes, you can make cheques payable to Nourish Farm and send to our address 445 Larkdowne Road, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 2N8.    You can pay cash for the final payment only by coming to see us at the farmers market on Saturdays starting April when we are back but the deposit to hold your spot must be made with credit card through the online store.  If credit cards are absolutely not your thing, please email us as we can accommodate etransfers but we just need to manually update the inventory in the store and issue you a receipt.

What veggies do you grow?

Arugula, basil, beans, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, bulb fennel, bok choy, chinese cabbage, cabbage, celery, corn, carrots, cauliflower, cilantro, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, garlic, kale, kohlrabi, head lettuce, micro greens, nutrient dense mix, melons, onion, green onions, pea shoots, mixed greens, parsley, peas, potatoes, radish, romanesco, shallots, spinach, summer squash, sweet peppers, swiss chard, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, turnips, winter squash, zucchini, misc herbs.

What if I  use my credit up  early? (Your choice box members only)

Continue ordering desired products as per usual but only pay for the value of the food ordered with no additional packaging fee being added to the orders  

What if I don't use up my credit before the end of the 18 weeks?  (your choice box members only)

You will need to plan accordingly and use up the credits prior to the end of the 18 weeks as we are also planning accordingly to grow enough food that will be harvested within that timeframe

 

What If I have to cancel early?   

If for some unforeseen reason you have to cancel any remaining weeks, we can refund you 50% of your remaining amount owing or unused.

Can I bring my own container/box or bag?

Absolutely!!   Not everyone wants to be responsible to bring back our box each week so you can take out your items from our box and use whatever you prefer.

 

How many people will a share feed?

Depends on how much you love your organic vegetables!  One share will feed  a single person who loves their veggies or a couple.  If you are a larger family or really love your fresh veg, you can always add onto your order.

What if I dont use up all my credit on my Nourish farm card?

  • Please plan accordingly, as you need to use it up within the season it is purchased as this helps our accounting:)

  • Unused credit cannot be redeemed for cash

Do you grow organically?

We used to be certified organic for 6 years, we still follow all the same practices,  We are always trying to build soil health and fertility including people's health with the food we grow.
